See what your site tells AI, then set your own rules in one click — allow AI search, block AI training, require attribution. Free.

== Description ==

AI models and agents read the independent web every day. Most sites have never made a single machine-readable decision about it — not "open", just undecided.

Tolljar — AI Rights lets you choose, in about a minute, and writes your choice into your site's robots.txt in a machine-readable way:

* Allow AI search & answers — let AI assistants surface and link your pages.
* Block AI training — disallow known model-training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, Google-Extended, Bytespider, and others).
* Require attribution — declare that AI use must credit and link back.
* Optional: connect your Tolljar rights profile to publish a stable License: pointer and verify domain control.

Honest by design: this declares your policy. It does not claim AI owes you money, and it does not promise AI visibility or rankings.

== Installation ==

1. Install the plugin and activate it.
2. Go to Settings → Tolljar — AI Rights.
3. Tick the rules you want and Save. Your robots.txt is updated automatically.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this cost anything? =
No. The plugin is free.

= Does blocking guarantee AI won't use my content? =
No. robots.txt is a declared policy that well-behaved crawlers follow; it is not technical enforcement. It is the standard, machine-readable way to state your terms.

= Do I need a Tolljar account? =
No. The rules work on their own. Connecting a Tolljar profile is optional and adds a stable hosted license URL and domain verification.

= Does this plugin contact any external service? =
Yes, minimally. When you activate the plugin, deactivate it, or save your AI rules, the plugin sends a small, non-blocking notification to Tolljar (https://tolljar.com) so we can show basic connection statistics. It transmits only your site's hostname and the event name (e.g. "activated"). It never sends your page content, your visitors' data, or any personal data. Tolljar's site and privacy information: https://tolljar.com — terms are declared-policy tooling only.
